New trend for all make up addicted and not. The key word is “change”. It is conquering italian girls and women but this accessory now easily spread to America and the East. Many of the names of the star system are now using it: from Paris Hilton to Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez and many others.
We are talking about cosmetic lenses. Forget thick lenses, artificial patterns and controversial colors of few years ago, you are far away from we are talking about. The new lenses are beautiful, natural, bright, create bigger eyes and above all allow us to change the look whenever we want!
From now it will be possible to experiment and have fun with all kinds of make up, changing lenses as we change a dress. The color of our eyes will reflect our emotional state of the day, our clothing , accessories or make up. Just try it, nobody, or almost none, will notice that you are wearing it.
Among the various brands on the market we have tested for you the Adore lenses, an italian company that doesn’t only produce cosmetic lenses but ,in occurrence, it combines remedial powers for visual defects; a good way to free oneself from glasses in certain moments.
We appreciated it for:
–Price: 30 Euros. Excellent value for money.
–Duration: 3 months, although we confess that we have used them even beyond the recommended period without any negative effects. Thanks to the technologies used within, the color does not lose intensity and the lens remains perfect. It may, however, be risky for the eyesight, especially if the lenses are graduated.
–Confort: soft and very thin lenses that do not dry the eye. And it is possible to keep them from al day long without finding any kind of hassle. Be careful, the risk is to forget to wear them and still fall asleep with your lenses!
–Color and pattern: the company offers three lines depending on the effect that you desire to create. Dare, tri-tone, bi-tone.
Dare
Lenses with a dark outer ring that has the power to instantly zoom in the eye and make it look deeper and fascinating. They have a strong bleaching power but provide a nice colored reflection, except for Dare- Violet, which we found a little blendable and very unnatural tone.
NATURAL EYES | VIOLET | GREY | BLUE | ACQUA | GREEN | YELLOW | HAZEL |
Tri- tone
Thanks to a mix of three colors it can provide a radical change. The glance appears immediately more open and awake. The colors are brilliant and rare but always natural; it’ll be impossible to be unnoticed. The pattern unfortunately remains partially visible from a near position and this makes them particularly suitable for evening use or photo effects. With these lenses it will not be difficult to get a look like Megan Fox and Angelina Jolie.
NATURAL EYES | GREY | LIGHT GREY | BLUE | LIGHT BLUE | GREEN | LIGHT GREEN | HAZEL |
Bi- tone
The overlapping of two colors makes them particularly natural and wearable on all occasions. It is practically impossible to say that you are wearing the lenses. Thay have a perfect blend with the eye, no matter the base and color; coverage would not be total and in fact the color of the lens merges with the natural color of the eye for a flawless and unique effect. These lenses enhance the natural color making it turn toward the desired shade. The final colors are thought bright but not too much. These lense are able to soften the glance, make it more open and enlarge the eye. We would recommended it for those who desire a radical change.
NATURAL EYES | GREY | BLUE | ACQUA | GREEN | YELLOW | HAZEL | HONEY |
Whether you prefer a white-colored watery effect, a magnetic green, an intriguing grey, a passionate hazel or a rare haney or violets, if you want to enhance your color or want to change it totally, you can choose between the infinite shades that Adore presents and be ready to play and change whenever you want to create fabulous effects and unique combinations.
